Accessing The Survey

SEA: Instructions for Fixing Common Issues with Survey Access

1. What type of browser should you use to complete the survey?

This survey is compatible with most internet browsers, including: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox, Android devices and Apple mobile devices.

2. How do I access Job Corps email?

Gmail Using a Chromebook

Outlook From a Computer

  • Log into your Chromebook using your @live.jobcorps.org email address and JCSN credentials.

  • Click on the Gmail icon in the system tray at the bottom:

  • Log into live.jobcorps.org using your JCSN credentials.

  • Select Office 365.

  • Click anywhere in the box within the Office 365 page. You’ll be re-directed to outlook.office365.com


*If your password needs to be reset, ask center staff to reset it. If you do not know who can do it, contact the IT person on your center.
3. How do I take the survey?
  • Check your Job Corps email (see above)
  • Find the email entitled “Your Student Experience Assessment (SEA) is Open”.
  • Copy the PIN (make sure there are no spaces at the beginning of the PIN)
  • Open the link by clicking on it. You may need to re-enter your JCSN credentials (same as #2 above) to open a new web page. You will be prompted if this step is needed. If this doesn’t work read #4 below.
  • Enter your PIN and click Start Survey
4. I click the link to the survey and the page will not load. What do I do?
  • Highlight the link to the survey
  • Right click on your mouse and copy link address
  • Open Chrome
  • In the top line (browser), right click and select Paste
  • Press enter
  • Go back to your email and copy the PIN
  • Paste the PIN and Start Survey
