The center utilizes all promotional materials available on the SEA site. Posters are placed around center as a constant reminder for our students. Constant communication, students hear about the SEA in their dorms, education classes, trade classes, recreation, etc. Students are encouraged to take SEA to make a difference. They know this is their voice. Incentives for participation. We have a drawing for gift cards for any student who takes the survey. Staff buy-in! That’s the biggest help, meeting with staff to make sure they buy-in. During the week of the survey we create a schedule for all classes to utilize the computer lab so students can have the opportunity to take the survey. Instructors walk their classes to the lab at their designated time. The schedule repeats once everyone has gone. This way every student has an opportunity.
Incentives for all participants; Raffle monetary incentives to 20 students who participated, posters all around the center; Speaking to students in classroom/Vocations that this survey is about their experience here at job corps and how can we make it better.
We hold a raffle for all participants to obtain a monetary incentive. We also put out posters throughout the center. At the all staff/Student business meeting, we talk to students that this is their survey to talk to regarding their experience here on center.
